David is now head curator and creative director of the biggest ROJO® ongoing project called ®nova and also runs the ®website’s content, in a daily basis and non-stop since 2002.

Graziela Calfat
Born and living in São Paulo (Brazil). Married to David, proud mom of Olivia and Martina.

After graduating from Business Administration at Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo, Graziela took on several marketing positions at Unilever HPC and Ice Cream, based in different countries; Brazil, USA, and Spain. A 15 years professional career at Unilever from Brand Development and Innovation to Brand Building. From global to regional and local marketing. Graziela’s expertise has been focused in Brand Development / Innovation areas.

Graziela first encounter with ROJO® was in a presentation party in São Paulo in 2003. What stroke her most was not the crowded venue, nor the impressive new issue called ®Sale (the first with 160pg), but the music, played by David Quiles Guilló disguised as DJ Fakenice. From the first song to the last, she enjoyed the eclectic, fun and experimental mix of everything surrounding her… few years later they met for the second time, to never be apart again.

Graziela is now executive director of ®nova and also runs the daily ROJO® operations in Brazil since 2008.

Lorenzo Gatti
Born in Brianza (Italy). Living and working between Milano and Barcelona.

In 2000 Lorenzo told his parents he was going to spend three days holidaying in Barcelona during his first trip to Spain. Those three days became seven years, during which he learn a lot about contemporary art, photography and how to organize events. In Barcelona he also got to know ROJO®.

After he published some photographs in ®magazine and eaten some sushi with David, Lorenzo decided he would work with ROJO®. Some years ago Lorenzo returned to Italy where he produces art exhibitions, events, special projects and teaches students how to do the same.

Although his favorite color is still blue, Lorenzo is ROJO®’s creative director and, since 2008, he curates the exhibitions and projects at ®Artspace Milano. Lorenzo travels to Barcelona as often as possible to have long coffee-breaks with Alejandra.

Alejandra Raschkes
Born in Cordoba (Argentina). Living in Barcelona and proud mom of Mar.

Alejandra was visiting some friends in Berlin during late summer 2001 when she stumbled into ®start, the first printed issue of ROJO®. It wasn’t long before Alejandra & David met for the first time in the rundown garage ROJO® used as first headquarters at Plaza del Sol, in the charming Gracia neighborhood, in Barcelona.

Alejandra joined the team as spiritual partner & executive director few days later, in mid 2001 and her +15 year expertise in administration, billing and accounting from her previous work at a big local engineering company, plus Alejandra’s exceptional sensibility for art, brought the extra stability, functionality and balance ROJO® needed to work in the many different art projects, worldwide.

Based in Barcelona and with no intention to move from her adoptive beloved city, Alejandra has been the executive leader of all ROJO® projects since the very beginning and until august 2011, to become the associate director for Spain. She just open MITTE, a 300sq meter multi-functional space in the heart of the city, which hosts the new ®Artspace Barcelona.
